McDonnell Douglas 10k solid gold pin, weight 2 grams without backing.This service pin was given for 30 years of service over 30 years ago.The pin is in mint condition and cost 58.85 cents for the company to order for an employee at the cost of gold being less than 1/5 of today's price.The pin is in mint condition. MD was bought out by Boeing in 1997.The company is as retired as the pins making it an ever increasing rarity for pin collectors.
