They have been lovingly & carefully restored down to the smallest detail:- chassis professionally re-chromed and re-silkscreened- black bases professionally powder-coated- transformers professionally repainted - all original Mcintosh transformers of course- complete circuit and power supply restoration (power section filter cap - "can cap" and all capacitors inside are all new. All electrolytics are Sprague Atom. Rest of caps have been carefully selected to match original McIntosh MC30 sound. Extensive A/B testing against a fully functional original led to final selection (combination audiophile grade Polyprop. film & Mylar).- all resistors checked and changed accordingly. Kiwame 2w carbon film resistors used for replacement.- new power cords- all tubes are vintage,tested, and matched.- Tube complement is same for each amp and consists of:Two 12AX7 Mullard EnglandTwo 12AX7 Mullard EnglandTwo 12AU7 Mullard EnglandTwo 12BH7 (RCA)Two 5U4GB (RCA)Four vintage, made in the USA GE/RCA clear top 6l6GC, PLUS EXTRA TUBES: ONE SPARE quad of power tubes: one set of vintage, made in the USA Tung-Sol 5881 Also included is a beautiful spare pair of ST shaped US TUNG SOL 5U4GA tube roller's dream indeed.Note that all the tubes included were tested on a recently calibrated TV7 mutual conductance tester and are strong. Amps look stunning and sound even more so. Completely quiet, warm, musical, as only vintage McIntosh can be. I am so confident with this restoration job that I am offering a one year, parts & labor warranty on these. Warranty if owner modifies or changes any part or attempt any repair himself/herself).
