MCKEE GLASBAKE FOOD PRESERVER REFRIGERATOR DISH W/LID MANUFACTURED BY: Mckee Glass Company AGE / PRODUCTION: 1910 - 1940 COLOR / PATTERN: Clear Glass MEASUREMENTS: About 4 inches tall - 5 inches in diameter - 7 3/4 inches long MARKS OR LOGOS: Rectangular Logo on bottom of dish which reads: USA, GLASBAKE, 805 - The lid is embossed 805 as well CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition - Dish has some nicking on the inside rim, mostly at the corners, nothing distracting - Lid has a little roughness around the corners - Only a few scratches between both pieces - Excellent clarity and luster! REMARKS: What a wonderful find! I had to look twice when I came across this great old Mckee Glass covered refrigerator dish, or Food Preserver, as Mckee calls them. I never seen one with its original flat lid with recessed button handle before, and now two in the same place. Not only with its very hard to find original lid, but in wonderful condition as well.
