Vintage McMurdo Table Lighter from the 30s and 40s. McMurdo used to be a designer for Dunhills before going into business for himself. This particular lighter has a stamp on its side T 6981 and the McMurdo stamp on the base with pat applied. The body is chrome and polished,there are some small indentations on the top and it needs a flint,wick and petrol as your know doubt aware you cant sell items with petrol so it needs some attention and for that reason and also because there are a few others on ebay,I'm starting the bid at 99p. There's a bargain here probably for a collector of McMurdo's.
