A small 1920's vintage square (empty) sample McVitie & Price's biscuit tin with trademark image of stag's head to the top of the hinged lid. The underside of the lid is printed MCVITIE & PRICE'S / DIGESTIVE / THE PREMIER BISCUIT OF BRITAIN and the base is embossed FREE SAMPLE / NO CHARGE. One of a number of antique biscuit tins I have listed on eBay this week - wherever possible I will always pack multiple purchases (from same day auctions together) to reduce postage costs for buyers. SIZE: 3.75" (9.5 cms) x 3.75" (9.5 cms) x 1.75" (4 cms) deep. CONDITION: Some light wear to the top of hinged lid (shown),associated with age and use,otherwise good condition with no damage.
