Rare, large exceptionally executed tricorn bowl of a particularly fine sea green colour . Expertly and exquisitely blown with bubbles and froth typical to early Mdina. The interior of the bowl is ochre in colour, although it looks green in the p hotograph due to the light coming thro ugh the blue/green glass. Where the silver oxide has reacted with other ingredients in the molten glass it has risen to the surface on all three sides of the bowl. Although the base is unsigned, this is not unusual as M ichael Harris rarely signed his pieces . H owever , a ll tricorn shapes were designed and made by Michael Harris himself . T his bowl dates to the late 60s early 70s.
