MECHANICAL BIRTHDAY POSTCARD Celluloid Bird Carrying Basket 1915Postcard has three dimensional "A Happy Birthday" letting with a bird carrying a flower basket that pivots out to the right from its stored position. Bird has movable wings. Postcard is addressed and has message on the back dated 1915; went through the mails in an outer box which accompanies the postcard. Postcard background has a fleur-de-lis pattern. Made in Germany, imported and published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. Undamaged, near excellent condition postcard. Box has small hole on top and shows general wear. See my other auctions for additional mechanical postcards.
