A very nice EF condition RN LSGC awarded to - MX.47112S. R.FULLER. SHPT.1. H.M.S. ST.ANGELO Shipwright 1st Class R .FULLER. RN was awarded his LSGC on the 4th June, 1943. Additionally he was entitled to the 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Africa Star, Italy Star and War Medal. Medal comes with the LSGC Roll Page from the National Archives. Also with the medal is a copy of the original receipt, as provenance, from the last vendor (Monarch Medals), this medal has been in my collection since 2004. I DO NOT POST ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF THE UK - AS I HAVE LOST PARCELS TO OVERSEAS BUYERS, AND DESPITE PROOF OF POSTING PAYPAL HAVE ALWAYS REFUNDED THE VENDOR. THEREFORE I WAS LEFT WITH NO MEDALS AND NO MONEY! EVERYTHING I POST WITHIN THE UK WILL BE SENT EITHER SPECIAL DELIVERY OR RECORDED POST (IF UNDER £38). HMS St.Angelo was at Malta, and as his date of LSGC is 1943 it places him right in the middle of the operations on Malta - so he might be eligible for the 1992 Malta Medal (which i think is a private purchase medal). The heading should be Depot Ship rather than submarine ship, but HMS St Angelo was a bricks and mortar ship! It was handed over to the government of Malta in 1979.
