Noteworthy also is that it features Griffin's own band at the time, the Jook Savages. It was also among the early posters distributed by Berkeley Bonaparte, the distribution company formed by Griffin, Alton Kelley, Victor Moscoso, Stanley Mouse and Wes Wilson. This is also a great example of the fascination early San Francisco counterculture poster artists had with notions of the wild west, indians and elixers that cured what ailed you.This poster is in NM- condition. It has a very faint coloring from age which this shot seems to magnify.
