Genuine Medieval Clay Marbles from the reign of Henry VIII !! Here's something a little different to see on eBay! They were purchased about 8 years ago when my collections were new and my space was abundant! They came from a dealer in Shropshire, UK and were listed as Tudor in age, although the dealer did say that they could be early Elizabethan. The picture shows the state of preservation, which is very nice indeed! These marbles were made from a clay material and seem to have been randomly colored by adding other materials to the mix before firing. The five smaller marbles are about 1/2 inch in diameter and the larger one is about 3/4 of an inch. Beautiful, quite rare and hand made in our distant past, this item is part of a clearance and no returns can be accepted. Please ask any questions before bidding and I will answer promptly.
