Dragon Dreams and Faerie Wings is proud to bring you another amazing creation. Each kaleidoscope is a work of art and truly one of a kind. Kari uses mica and a special 12 step process to make the polymer flash with opal-like fires and hues. Kari lampworks all of her own glass in her amazing oil-filled gem chambers. Each chamber contains flame worked glass pieces, Swarvoski Crystals and hand flame worked Ampoules. An ampoule is a glass tube filled glass that falls at a different rate than the rest of the items in the gem chamber. The mirror systems used are Front (First) surface mirrors. This OOAK piece also has a dark blue Swarvoski cystal embelishing the globe ring as well as hundreds of clear cystals in the image chamber. These refract my amazing flameworking and give a truely unique look.
