Megalodon Miocene, approx. 5-10 million years old May River, SC, USA 3.64" x 3" wide _______________________________________________ Description Hands down, one of the rarest colored, and overall prettiest Megs I've listed on Ebay in a while. Teeth from the May River hold a special place in my heart, and I don't think I'm alone in this, many MR teeth are just sort of typical looking teeth, but, every once in a while, the Megalodon teeth cosmos line up just so, and you get one like this, with rare, truly spectacular color. The front has pretty nice colors, tan/orange and some pale blue, but, take a look at the back, the candy-like, super glossy, pastel enamel is just exploding with bright vivid colors! Blue, very rich tan, and yes, the tip portion of the crown when held up to the light glows a deep cherry red! Frankly, you'd be hard pressed to find a Meg on Ebay with finer color, and, as we all know, color is by far the most sought after ( and expensive ) quality a tooth can have, and for color, they don't get much better or rarer than this. The serrations are in excellent shape, some of them are huge , and they are super sharp, as is the tip, which is 100% flawless and as pointy as they get, and, again, the tip serration, and the serrations near it, are a deep, gorgeous cherry red, how cool is that? :) Overall, just a killer tooth with spellbinding color, if you have ever wanted to add a killer example of a May River Meg to your collection, or, you collect for rare and beautiful color, you should seriously consider this one, it's priced fairly to begin with for such a rare, beautiful tooth, so do make offers, but please make them close and fair, the odds of me finding another one like this are slim to none, so, I'm not going to sell it for too much off my listed price, which again, is really very reasonable for color and quality like this.
