18 90's MEIJI JAPAN HINA NINGYO ARCHER DOLL - LEFT IMPERIAL GUARD This wise elder Samurai archer has a Gofun oyster shell painted face and hands, with deep brown glass eyes and a serene expression. He is wearing rich black handmade silk clothing with many folded layers around the neck and sleeves, accented with white, orange and purple. His long white beard, lofty eyebrows and hair are all still very well maintained, with no apparent hair loss. He carries ALL ORIGINAL weapons - a bow in hand with arrows in the quiver, as well as his katana (sword) tucked behind. His weapons are made from wood, paper, metal, fabric and real feathers. He is ornamented with a detailed embroidered sash in purple and cream with a delicate silk fringe. His pants appear to be woven from straw with silk trim, and his feet have wooden shoes. He has a hidden support column behind the legs to allow him to stand freely with perfect balance and poise. He is one of the two Imperial Guards of the palace.
