A quality Meiji period earthenware Satsuma vase, of cylindrical shape, measuring 9.8" high and 6.3" diameter, to the largest point. It has three panels with awesome moulded figures, and is painted and gilded with several other. Marked with the inscription you can see in the pictures, bellow the Shimazu family crest. A beautiful example of Japanese Satsuma, in very good condition, apart from some general loss to the gilding. Any questions, just email me and I'll be happy to help. Thank you very much for looking!
