MEISSEN Reticulated Basket Weave Porcelain Bowl- Exquisite porcelain woven basket with hand-painted center decoration in blue, lavender and pinks. The bowl is trimmed in gilt. The bowl is approximately 9 and 3/4 inches wide and 2 and 1/2 inches tall. The piece is signed with the blue Meissen crossed swords makers mark and has the artist initials of W I X 71. The condition is good with the exception of a broken and missing reticulated outer piece that measures 1/2 inch. There are a couple of dark streaks that I will not try and rub off ( leaving that to experts) There are no chips, cracks and the gilt has minor wear.
