This is a set (matched pair) of vintage sterling silver salt and pepper shakers from Meka Denmark and designed by Volmer Bahner. The pair each measure 1 1/2 inches tall, and together they weigh 48.4 grams. There are two brilliant green and enameled panels in a vine and radiating pattern on each shaker. The pair have been used, but they are in VERY GOOD used condition with very little sign of use. Picture #7 shows the open bottoms of the set, and a difference can be seen. The shaker on the left had evidence of use with salt -- the other is apparently pepper. This set was given a good shine with a polishing cloth, and a red plastic dot has been placed on the bottom of the one shaker to indicate the "salt" one, as can be seen in the last picture.Please see my other sterling silver listings, and check my excellent feedback.Shipping is FREE within the USA.
