BEAUTIFUL Bruno Merli or B. Merli "DIVIETO Di PESCA" or "Fishing Prohibited" Sleeping Boy & Onlooking Girl. I am no expert of figurines but from what I have found it appears to have the Capodimonte Naples mark. Please let me know if it is something else so I can make corrections.Please note the small mar (indent) in the wood on the backside. It is highlighted with an arrow. I dont see any other chips or flaws and will very carefully pack it for transit.You can really feel like you are there watching them. The boy caught his fish and was so comfortable leaning against the sign post and soaking a foot that he couldn't keep his eyes open. The girl looks very melancholy and just seems to be waiting for the boy to wake up so he could catch more fish for supper. I hope he remembers to get the bobber out of the water:)Copyright 1984 Florence.I have not attempted to clean it other than a light dusting.Approx dimensions: 7"w x 5"d x 9.5"hCondition is Used.
