MERRY LOVE is dressed in an ankle-length maroon velvet dress with velcro closures on the back. The dress is trimmed with white collar and cuffs and a maroon and white border edges the hemline. The bodice sports a trim of white eyelet from neck edge to waist with gold braid down the center. Her blonde hair is pulled back at the sides and topped with a maroon and white bow at the top of her head. Under her dress, MERRY wears white eyelet -trimmed bloomers. In one hand she holds a brown felt Teddy Bear. The original "Applause" logo plastic tag is attached to the edge of one dress sleeve. Attached to the other sleeve is the original 10-page book from "Applause", beautifully illustrated with colored pictures and classic Joan Walsh Anglund thoughts. She stands 9 1/2" tall, This doll should be considered "New/Other". She presents as brand new but is not in original packaging. She lived enclosed in a glass display case in a smoke free home and has spent the least 15 years sealed in a box.
