I also acquired the Main Mass of this important Carbonaceous Chondrite. This is one of my all time favorite meteorites! Get' em while they are . check my ebay store for more! is a 16.01 gram part slice, of The NWA 3118 Meteorite. This Carbonaceous Chondrite, CV3 class was found in Morocco in 2003. The total known weight is 5.9 kilos. Simply stated... a very beautiful meteorite! I really love this CV3 !! Michael Cottingham's Meteorite Collecting History and (Mini) Bio... I first started my cosmic journey with meteorites in 1996. I have always been interested in Natural History and ever since I was very young, I have collected rocks, fossils, artifacts and the like. In fact, I have been pretty darn good at finding unusual Natural History objects. However, I had never found a meteorite and I didn't even know w to begin.
