Metropolitan Museum of Art Crosby Brown Collection - Orchestral Horn Ornament Estate sale find. This beautiful reproduction of a Orchestral Horn (French Horn) was produced by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in conjunction with the Crosby Brown Collection of Musical Instruments. I was unable to find out the year this horn was made, but it is no longer sold at the museum. This beautiful ornament is "cast in pewter, electroplated with 24 kt. gold and is slightly antiqued." The horn looks more silver in the photo, but it is very gold looking. The orchestral horn measures 3.5" long. A great gift for that special musician.
