This beautiful piece of Mexican Silver depicts an Aztec head with carved onyx as the face and silver with mother of pearl inlay as the headdress and collar. It can be worn as a pin or a necklace if you add a chain. It measures 2 1/2 inch long by 1 3/4 inch wide at the widest point and weighs a hefty 34 grams. The back is marked "Hecho en Mexico 925 Taxco" with the artist name "Cheo" and the Bell Mark. The closing clasp of the pin that slides around to keep the end of the pin secure is missing, but this can be easily repaired by a jeweler. Other than that this piece is in very nice condition with no scratches or signs of wear.
