This bracelet was given to my mother when she was a young teen, either in the summer of 1954, 1955, or 1956. Her Uncle had traveled to Mexico and brought the bracelet back as a gift (I know that it was purchased in the mid-1950s, however the manufacture could have been earlier than that). It is in good vintage condition. There is a hallmark on the clasp that reads "sterling TAXCO 925." All parts of the bracelet are intact and the clasp works (it's a simple tab-in-slot style). As you can see in the photos, there is some tarnish, a few of the connecting tines are slightly dented, and there are some scratches near the inside clasp. Measures 7.5 inches long and 1.25 inches wide. This is a unique, beautifully detailed, rare, Mexican bracelet. The handmade cardboard gift box, as shown in last photo, will be included.
