This MGBGT has not been used for over ten years so sold as spares or repair. I changed the oil and filters, as well as the plugs. I took the petrol tank out and flushed it out and filled it up with fresh petrol, and she fired up straight away. I have fitted a new clutch slave cylinder. Water pump was leaking bad so new one fitted. Alternator was shot as well so new one fitted. Brakes were all seized solid, so I fitted a full kit on the back, plus new pipes, so will need front brakes sorted. I think it would be worth fitting new caliper kits. I have fitted new front pads but can’t get a good pedal. Also new carpet kit fitted. It came with no keys so will need a new lock if you want it original. I have fitted an aftermarket one that works fine. Unfortunately there is an oil leak. So she’s had a lot of money spent on her. She looks good underneath for her age. She looks a lot better in the pictures as she’s been patched up in all the usual places. Viewing highly recommended. Selling because I need the space. Advertised elsewhere so I have the right to remove before end of auction. This vehicle will be need to be trailered away.
