This 5.5" sculpture depicts two mice out enjoying a light rain on a beautiful Spring day. They understand that for flowers and grass to grow, a little rain must fall. The base is wonderfully done in three dimensional relief of a stone garden wall with flowers, grass and a pink-shelled snail, wearing a protective yellow rain hat. From the purple umbrella painted with blue hearts to the petal on each flower, it is wonderfully painted with care to each detail. The vignette is complete as one mouse reaches out to touch that last rain drops before it falls. The song it plays is, of course, "Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head." It comes in it's original San Francisco Music Box company box and is in mint condition.
