I am offering at auction this Michael Graves designed tea kettle manufactured by Moller Design in Newport Beach, CA in the 1980's. The tea kettle has been used and shows scratches on the bottom w it has been used on the stove. However, the rest of the kettle is in very nice condition and still very shiny with no dents. This is the Disney Mickey Mouse kettle made of 18/10 stainless steel under the exacting standards of Michael Graves, Walt Disney Co., and Moller design. The handle and knob on the lid of the kettle are fabricated from heat resistant molded plastic. The kettle is 9 1/2" tall and the base is 8" in diameter. It is engraved The Mickey Mouse Gournet Collection designed by Michael Graves for Moller Design and is signed by the artist. Michael Graves is a world renowned architect and product designer known for his witty and distinctive style. His entertaining designs have brought a special brand of magic to the Walt Disney Co. These unique pieces from the Mickey Mouse Gournet Collection add a new dimension to both entertaining and everyday living. I purchased this kettle at an estate auction and it is stil in the original box with tagw inside. T is some damage to the top of the box w something has been written and removed. About 1 1/2" x 1/2" high. This would make a very nice addition to your Michael Graves or Disney collection.
