Michael Jordan Vintage Signed 1980's UNC Jersey with COA from Global Authenticatication Presented for auction is a Michael Jordan Vintage Signed 1980's UNC Tar Heels Jersey. Global Authentication (recommended by Ebay) has assembled an all star team of authenticators and the industry's most sophisticated authentication process. Their six step process employs a blend of proprietary state-of-the-art authentication technologies and esthetics. Physical Analyses: this item was reviewed under the following scrutiny: Side-By-Side Comparisons, Ink/Medium Analysis, Autograph Structure, Object Evaluation, and Covert Identifier. It received Global's proprietary invisible forensic marker that contains specially coded information unique only to Global. Also, a tamper evident label bearing a unique serial number, is affixed to the item allowing for easy identification. The GAI Certification number is: GV 254636. This jersey dates from the early 1980's, while Michael played for UNC. The jersey was made by RUSSELL ATHLETIC, and tagged accordingly. The last year Russell used this style tag was 1983. All letters and numbers are sewn on. The jersey is a Size 42, most likely the Exact Size that Michael wore (as his 1984 Bulls Rookie Jersey is a size 42).
