RIVER BOAT GAMBLERS This piece by Michael Ricker was issued in 1983. The piece features two men sitting on their barrels playing cards with their money on the table. This is one of Ricker's earlier pieces in good condition. This piece would look good in anybody's collection of Michael Ricker artwork. This piece stands about 5.5" tall, 6" wide, and weighs aprox 8.5 lbs. To obtain the certificate of authencity for this piece you need to contact Ricker Studios and get the piece registered. Once registered Ricker Studios will send a free COA for the piece. The reason that this must be done is at one point Ricker stopped sending COA's with his pieces because people lost them and then wanted new ones. Ricker changed his policy for a time and made the buyers register the piece and then receive their COA's for their purchased pieces. Michael Ricker - The Artist In Michael's lifetime, he became an internationally acclaimed artist and sculptor and produced highly sought-after artwork. He formed The Michael Ricker Casting Studios located in Estes Park, Colorado in 1968 and continued the business until he passed away from complications of an aneurysm on January 7, 2006.
