Payment Microscope slide. Coumarin crystals by Enock Album Album Album Frederick Enock is probably the most famous mounter of all the great nineteenth-century preparers. His often unique and meticulously presented entomological mounts are a testament to his great skill and quest for perfection. His working life and spare time was almost entirely dedicated to his mounting business and the hunt for insects, but he also found time to prepare extensive monographs on his favoured entomological subjects. Sadly, much of his life's work was destroyed after his death, including his work on Fairy Flies. Non-entomological mounts by Enock are very scarce and this is the first time I have seen a chemical preparation by him.
