You are bidding on a pair of Barcelona style chairs. While not Eames originals these have been in my family for about 40 years. My mother purchased them in Raleigh, as Barcelona style mid century chairs. They are in good condition, the strapping is in excelent condition, chrome is showing some aging in spots. The cushions need to be replaced, I do have cushions but they are not original (they have been recovered in fabric) Please let me know if you have any questions. Do not want to be miss-leading the chome is pitted as shown in picture. From the front pitting not very noticable, most of pitting is on underside and on bottom legs. (picture from underside) My mother, who bought them, says they are Italian imports, and that t was an Italy sticker on bottom but the sticker is gone (can tell t was a sticker) I love these chairs but just do not have the right space for them, and do not want to keep just in case. Buyer pays shipping, or can pick-up. I added a guess on package size and weight if chairs are disassembled and boxed - shipping via UPS ground is an estimate, final shipping charges will be determined based on buyer's preferences. Also willing to ship via Greyhound- station to station w shipping from NC to NY would be about $85 for priority (plus shipping materials) as an example.
