MID CENTURY MODERN BROYHILL BRASILIA BED BEDROOM 1960s 60" overall wide x 41" headboard center tall . Footboard: 14" post tall x 12 1/2" center tall. Bedrails: 6 3/4" off ground x 11" bedrail tall. Interior: 53" x 76" (The previous owner removed the support edge inside the bedrail, you may need to replace with metal or conversion rails to fit standard full or queen size.)We found this great bed next to a complete Broyhill Brasilia line bedroom set. The matching pieces are in auctions now. There are many enthusiasts of this early 1960s line of furniture made and sold by Broyhill Furniture Company. Some consider this furniture art. There is much inspiration in the history of the design as you can read below. This bed and the rest of the pieces are all amazingly well preserved and in good condition. Will polish up very well, very sturdy and tight, no issues! Ready for any home!With original rails, fits full size bedding, you can convert to queen with Queen conversion kits or replacement bedrails. The bed frame is 60" wide so works very well with 58" wide Queen bedding.The Brasilia line by Broyhill was created in 1962.
