This auction is for 2 Mid Century Panton, Kartell Era Op Art Phillips 66 Gas Station Yellow Globe Planters, in excellent to mint condition. They are each stamped on the base. My mom got these when she filled up for gas when I was a kid. Phillips gave them away so folks would buy gas from them. They have never been used. The best photo to show t true color is number 3, but are even more yellow than that in person. My camera seem to bleed out on yellows. T bases are for water drainage so it doesn't get all over your floor after you water them come off and the planters have drain holes. My son is going off to college so I will be selling everything in my collection over the summer. Measurements are each: 6 inches deep and 7 1/2 inches wide. This would be an fun to any ones Mid Century or Panton Modern Home.
