Midge Doll 1962 Straight Leg Bubble Cut Red Hair Barbie Mattel Description Up for auction is Barbie's friend Midge. The doll is a straight legged with red bubble cut hair. Her hair is very thick and in good shape. Her face is a little dusty but she has bright make-up and lipstick. She still has the nail polish on her fingers and toes however part of one thumb is missing and she has a cut on her finger on that same hand and her right foot has chew marks and a little disfiguring of her toes. She has some light scuff and a few scratches, including one on the Midge stamp on her backside. Her right arm has what looks like "511 SN" stamped on the inside of her upper arm and "374 NN" on the inside of her upper left arm. Her legs have some darkening/discoloration but it may just be grime that can be cleaned off. Included in this auction is the outer coat from the Barbie Dinner at Eight outfit, #946. It is in good shape for it's age except for a tear in the fabric on the front of the bodice. Midge was wearing it backwards when I got her and her breast had torn a small hole in the coat. I am not familiar with older Barbies and have tried my best to describe the doll. Please email if you have any questions!
