Bob Essery's love for steam railways stems from his early youth when, living in a Birmingham suburb. His footplate service began on the LMS just before Nationalisation, and continued to the early days of British Rail. This first hand experience has proved to be invaluable, in both writing about and making models of the LMS railway. This volume is the first in a series dealing with Midland and LMS built wagons and their work in traffic. The book is a good source of reference work for the modeller. 168 pages thick with some 240 black and white Plates or photos if you like which include line drawings of wagons etc. I have taken a photo of the contents page, see photo two.Hardback with dustjacket.Good condition - slight "nick" (about 3mm) to dustjacket bottom of spine.HEAVY BOOK AT JUST OVER 1KG - POSTAGE AT COST ONLY (UK BIDDERS ONLY)
