Midwinter Stylecraft nursery ware by Peggy Gibbons.Jack and Jill set still in original box. Never been used or washed. Therefore in perfect condition.Probably bought around 1960 when my cousin was born. In pencil on the front of the box it says 12/6 which must be what it cost then.Includes a mug, egg cup, teaplate and cereal bowl. Each has scenes from the nursery rhyme 'Jack and Jill'. Signed Peggy Gibbons and on the base of each a coloured picture of the first scene (which is on the bowl). Dimensions: Mug 75 mm high, 75mm across. Cereal bowl 16cm across. Plate 17.5 cm across. Egg cup 40 mm high, 47mm across Presentation box 32x18x9 cm. Cardboard. Red and white stripes around the sides. Pictures of Jack and Jill, Five Little Piggies and Georgie Porgie on the front and back. If you are a collector I don't think you will ever get another chance to own a complete set like this.
