Mid-Century style enamel over copper dish by renowned Mexican enamel artist Miguel Pineda with red rooster design. The piece is signed by the artist on verso and front. It is in excellent vintage condition with no damage.Miguel Pineda is a Mexican enamelist internationally known for his artistic high quality enamel pieces. He was born Miguel Pineda Godoy in Mexico City in 1940 and was introduced to enameling by Maggie Howe, American born artist who opened an enamel work shop in the Mexican capital. Pineda studied with her from 1958 to 1960. He then began to experiment on his own, learning new techniques.approx. dims: 6"W x 8.5"H x 3/4"D
