Sunny Greetings The courtyard of La Casa Azul is the basis for this pair of EMBRYOS. The lovely cobalt blue building was the birthplace and home of Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. It's now a museum dedicated to her art. Recently I got a commission to paint a larger piece of La Casa Azul . I've never painted a garden with blue walls and a yellow door so t hese two pieces are some of my color studies. What fun to explore the possibilities of flower combinations with the electric courtyard setting.
