MILITARIA - 22ND REGIMENT OF FOOT CHESHIRE RGT LEATHER HORSE STRAP BRIDLE BADGE Unusual item - looks to be part of a horses equipment - bridle ? It is a leather strap which fastens with a buckle with a circular piece of leather with a brass plaque in the centre. The button in the centre is leather trimmed and has "Regiment XXII" in the centre with a crown above it. I believe this is for the 22nd regiment of foot, later known as the Cheshire Regiment Condition - Leather is in good, soft condition. The brass part is slightly rusty and would benefit from a good clean. The leather trim surrounding the "button" is worn and discoloured Size - Total length approx 28 cms Photos are a fair representation of the condition Please e mail with any questions.
