You are bidding on an original red felt Fez style hat from the Military veterans organization " Military Order of the Cootie" or M.O.C. MOC was started by Spam Am VFW vets as an honor and fun organization because they expected a large influx of members from the end of WWI, around 1919. The hat you are bidding on is from a Maryland post, MD 18, and was worn by a Past Seam Squirrel. Seam Squirrel seem to be a higher up officer or Commander of the group. Hat is adorned with black tassels at both ends, gold arrows, and two gold cooties, rhinestones, and cootie insignia. Inside is a 1 1/4 inch brown leather sweat band. Hat shows a few pin holes w a few rhinestones fell off otherwise in great shape. Cootie hat is offered at low opening bid no reserve. Bidder pays $3.00 shipping in the US insurance is optional.
