We are pleased to offer a set of vintage milk glass salt and pepper set. We have had these for years and the original decal had long since worn away.( When we bought the set t was a faint piece of floral decal). We found these adorable vintage decals of the Dutch boy and girl and have applied them to the shakers. The blond haired boy is standing in front of a red picket fence feeding his ducks. He is wearing a red jacket, dark blue hat and tie with a lighter shade of blue pants. T are tulips in yellow, red and blue around the fence, green grass around the ground. The ducks have orange bills and feet. The girl is carrying a pair of buckets on a yoke. She is blond and is wearing a traditional Dutch cap. Her dress is a full skirt in red and black. Her apron is white with black , blue and yellow. she has on blue stockings and wooden shoes. She is standing on green grass. Her yoke is green and the buckets are yellow. The shakers are in very good condition. The red metal lids are original, one being a bit more faded than the other. The bottoms of the shakers are embossed with, "Made In U.S.A. and the number 7".The shakers measure 3 1/4" tall x 2" square. We would suggest hand washing the shakers if you are going to use them.
