The front displays a banner with the dates 1776 on the left and 1923 on the right with a liberty bell in the center. T are owls on either side of the payout card and one on the top of the machine. This machine is in nice working condition with a fluid-moving arm and pays out correctly. The base and sides are oak which are in nice, original condition with a few cracks and expected wear. Cash box is also included. The back is missing. Replacement backs can be found on ebay. The plate behind the coin receiver seems to be a newer replacement. This great machine in working condition would be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection or to be used simply for personal enjoyment. As found in "Slot Machines" by Dieter Ladwig: The "O.K" was invented by Watling. It was a versatile machine which could also be used as a vendor, and gained its name from the manufacturer's claim that it was legally OK. This was an extremely successful model, though it is very rare nowadays because so many were destroyed by the authorities. The oak stand that was used with this machine and pictured is not included in this auction but is up for bidding in my other items. Buyer to pay $125 shipping.
