This is an original blue Mills cartridge belt with a 1887 NGP plate. It is in excellent condition, not frayed, and has no tears. It has 45 cartridge loops. It is marked: Pat. Mills & Orndorff with six different patent dates It has a brass wire bayonet hanger. It is all original, see the marking on the plate. The color of the belt is dark blue, the pictures show a light blue which is because of my camera problem. Would be difficult to find a better example of this belt. Sorry for the poor picture of the markings on the plate back. I tried to show that the markings extend from edge to edge of the plate's hook area. They are sharp and clear.
