Up for your consideration and auction is a Milwaukee Road Condensed Profile book from 1976. This profile is in good condition and contains over 270 pages. It covers the WASHINGTON DIVISION and includes three main lines and several spurs. The book measures 9-inches by 5-inches with a blue-print cover and black line drawings. Each individual page shows the line, elevation, rail size and age, bridges and culverts and mile posts as well as much more. As an example part of the line at St Marys Washington at mile post 19 had 85-pound rail laid in 1943. The roadbed cosisted of Malden crushed rock laid in 1943. Also at this exact point t was a 30-foot by 20-inch clay pipe culvert. This would be a great book for historians, railroad buffs or model railroaders. Watch for others coming soon.
