Up for bid is an Antique Miners Candle, from the 1860s. Commonly refered to as a "Sticking Tommy" because the miners would Stick it in the timbers next to them so they would have the light to work by. This also has the hook on it which was used to hang on the miners helmet. It measures 10" long. I beleive it is made of brass. It is in exceptional condition for its age. It looks as though this one wasn't used much. The candle is not original, it was just used for the pictures. Shipping is 5.00 priority. anything selling for over 50.00 will have insurance and proof of delivery. I will ship worldwide, and shipping will depend on destination. Please ask any questions, and I will ship the day after payment is received. Check out my other items, I add new stuff all the time!
