Ming's was first listed in the 1940-41 Directory of the City and County of Honolulu. T were Ming's stores on the mainland and goods were also sold through catalogues. Ming's last retail site, in Honolulu, closed in October. 1999. Many of the pieces were designed by Wook Moon, a renowned artist in jewelry. Most examples are signed "Ming's."
