By bidding on/winning/BIN this item, you indicate that you have fully read, understood and agree with our complete SELLING POLICIES (listed further down on this page) MINI SANTOS Doll (Santo Saint Mannequin, shabby/primitive) This 15" Santos style doll is an adorable addition to any collection. Her petite size makes her easy to fit in almost anywhere. She has a very delicate, beautiful face. Her approx. 11.5" tall body is carved lightweight wood, and her arms are created in the traditional antique manner of wire arms, covered in fabric. Hands are resin, and possibly so is her head. She's hand crafted, hand painted, and stands atop a 3.5" wooden 'globe'/stand combination, and would be beautiful dressed in a robe or gown. Slip her in between two other dolls, on a bookshelf, or atop a cabinet, as a curious object. We prefer ours up close, where we can admire her intricate features. Note: This is a new doll, with the appearance of a true antique (Make sure to check our other Santos (Cage) Dolls, too!) All the above are stock pictures from our studio collection. This sale is for the doll described above the pictures only; any other items/dolls potentially present in our picture(s) are not included. Your doll will be very, very similar to the one shown. Please keep in mind that the arm motion-/posture-capacity of your doll may differ from (i.e. be more, less, different, or similar to that of) the doll depicted in these pictures. Handcrafted workmanship Variations occur with each handcrafted piece, particularly when being ‘antiqued’. This is character, and not a flaw. And since the dolls are crafted to appear antique in nature, they may include some of the following: distressed or chipped paint, minor splits in wood, some cracks, variations in paint shade, variations in joint resistance, exposed wood in joints, and other artistic process imperfections, yielding different results on every doll. And, although all dolls of a same model are remarkably close in appearance, there may be signs of aging that are not identical to her ’sisters’. Additionally, dolls are made by various craftsmen and receive different ‘personal touches’… It’s the beauty of artistic hand made versus robotic machine made.
