This petite antique doll stands only 8 inches tall. Dating to the very early 1900's, she has an adorable, brightly-hand-painted German china shoulder head, an antique sawdust-stuffed brown cloth body, and original bisque/china lower arms and legs. Palpating over the top of her dress to check for breaks (dress sewn on), her shoulder head does appear to be in excellent, all-original condition. Despite a good restoration to the left foot, her lower arms and legs are also without damage. As pictured however, the lower cloth section of her upper legs have a patched repair. While somewhat secure beneath the left sleeve of her dress, the lower left arm is only minimally attached to the upper arm. This is the only area that should be tended to. She is dressed for display in a green and tan lacy dress with peach-colored silk neckline. Beneath, is a peach slip and a pair of age-worn silk pantaloons.
