Miniature Book entitled Making Large Sheets of Paper in the Chinese Manner written by Benjamin Franklin. It's from a 1788 essay Franklin gave to the Americal Philosophical Society in Philadelphia suggesting that America adopt the Chinese method of papermaking. There are 14 pages, beautifully letterpress printed on the publisher's handmade paper. There are 2 linocut illustrations by Bonnie Baris. The binding is pale yellow cloth boards with a printed paper label. The book measures 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" and it was published by Whippoorwill Press on Frankfort KY. The condition is flawless - very fine.I will mail this item anywhere in the USA for $2 by first class mail.
