This is a miniature, traveling carriage clock. It stands 4.5 inches with the handle up. It has beveled glass on all four sides and an oval beveled glass on the top. The picture light makes it look gold, but it is in a silver case. Metal unknown. Movement though is solid brass with nice heavy plates. Age unknown. Porcelain dial has no cracks, hands are in good shape and it is marked "made in France" on the dial. Balance wheel escapement. Unsure of the exact age or manufacturer. Engraved on the movement is made in France and in script and arrow is the word "Hands". No chips on the glasses or problems with the case. In GRO. Comes with key. Beautiful original condition.
