I have listed more vintage solid gold Omega, Bulova and Hamilton watches. Please see other auctions in my shop . Year: 1966 Material: 14k Solid Gold Gorgeous, 14k SOLID GOLD Omega sapphette ladies watch in pristine condition, sparkling sapphire diamond cut crystal, mint white pearl dial, original 14k Omega crown, 17 jewel Omega movement. This gorgeous Omega watch has spent most of the time in a jewellery box and shows almost no signs of wear. The watch is 14k solid gold, hallmarked inside the case and between the lugs. The case is in-house made by Omega, not by subcontracted case manufacturer and is made from chunky 0.8mm thick gold sheet which is more than twice the thickness of most solid gold cases. It’s fitted with gorgeous Omega Sapphette crystal with sparkling diamond cut edge. Omega sapphire crystals are extremely hard, scratch-proof and its diamond cut edge gives excellent sparkle from all directions. The dial is clean white pearl with raised hour markers and Omega symbol below 12 o’clock. The size of the case is 16mm across and 24mm including the lugs. It is increasingly difficult to find this kind of watch in such condition. The movement is Omega, 17 jewels, caliber 484, running and keeping time.
