This figurine is a real beauty and MINT! Here is your chance to own one of the finest handcrafted porcelain figurines by Rudolf Marcuse. Arte Character style Rosenthal "Duett- Pierrot mit Gitarre" clown & poodle duet. There are absolutely no chips, scuffs, cracks or breaks. Might be a little dust from being on display. The colored glaze is a beautiful castory and off-white and the detail is precise down to his fingernails. This figurine is marked on the base with the model #T311, also marked on the back R.Marcuse. There is a detailed description sticker about the figurine and it's sculptor on bottom. For sure museum worthy and will make an excellent conversation piece. One of the nicest pieces of Rosenthal made. The mold was from 1913, I believe this to be from the early 20s.
